摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle use power generation control device which can increase a frequency with which a power generator is controlled in regenerative mode and can thereby improve fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: Under regenerative mode control, power generation by an alternator 3 and stoppage thereof are switched over according to the drive state of an engine 2. Under charge mode control, power generation by the alternator 3 is continued irrespective of the drive state of the engine 2. Regenerative mode control is executed for a time until the remaining amount of charge of a battery 4 drops from a first remaining amount to a second remaining amount. When the remaining amount of charge drops to the second remaining amount, charge mode control is executed. Thereafter, regenerative mode control and charge mode control are executed alternately each other, so that the remaining amount of charge of the battery 4 will fall within a range from a third remaining amount, as the upper limit, which is smaller than the first remaining amount but larger than the second remaining amount to a fourth remaining amount, as the lower limit, which is smaller than the third remaining amount but larger than the second remaining amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
