<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker having excellent cooking performance. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes a pan heating device 5 comprising an inner coil 5a provided opposite to a bottom face of a pan 2 and an outer coil 5b provided opposite to a low side-face part of the pan 2 to heat the pan 2. In the rice cooker, a plurality of rod-like inner ferrites 6a and a plurality of rod-like outer ferrites 6b are radially disposed opposite to the inner coil 5a and the outer coil 5b, respectively. Further, the inner and outer ferrites 6a, 6b are projected from upper surfaces and are arranged nearly linearly, the side sectional shapes of one or both of the inner and outer ferrites 6a, 6b are set to be in a trapezoid shape such that the opposing surfaces become nearly parallel, and a cushioning 7 is provided on opposing surfaces of the inner and outer ferrites 6a, 6b, thereby stabilizing distance between the inner and outer ferrites 6a, 6b and improving cooling performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
