<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dredge ship capable of effectively utilizing regenerative electric power. <P>SOLUTION: A dredge ship 10 has a grab bucket 14. The dredge ship 10 includes: a motor for driving the grab bucket 14; an engine generator 44 for generating electric power; a first converter 46 provided between the motor 54 and the engine generator 44 and for adjusting the electric power generated by the engine generator 44; an inverter 52 provided between the motor 54 and the first converter 46 and for controlling operation of the motor 54; a capacitor 48 provided in parallel with the engine generator 44 and for storing regenerative electric power from the motor 54; and a second converter 50 provided between the inverter 52 and the capacitor 48 and for adjusting electric power supplied from the capacitor 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
