<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device that enables accurate performing of object detection in the vicinity of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A driving support device according to the present invention includes: an imaging camera 10 for imaging the surroundings of a vehicle; an LED 23 for radiating irradiation light upon the surroundings of the vehicle; a second imaging element 21 for acquiring reflection light; a second signal processing unit 22 for calculating range images on the basis of the reflection light; and an object detection processing unit 36 for detecting an object using the range images. The driving support device further includes: combining means 37 for combining an image, which indicates the object detected by the object detection processing unit 36 among the range images calculated by the second signal processing unit 22, with a captured image taken by the imaging camera 10; and a display device 40 for displaying a combined image combined by the combining means 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
