PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing device, a method, and a program which can prevent sound distortion, sound cracking, etc. from being generated from input signals in sound output means.

SOLUTION: A signal processing device (10) comprises: analysis means (1) which analyzes characteristics of input sound signals in a frequency domain; determination means which determines whether the characteristics of the sound signals correspond to characteristics that require correction, by using an analysis result by the analysis means (1); and correction means (3) which corrects the characteristics of the sound signals on the basis of a determination result by the determination means (2) and outputs the corrected sound signals as signals for sound output means (4).
