<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sealing performance of the case in a condition that the drive shaft is not attached, while preventing grow in size of the differential case. <P>SOLUTION: In a seal structure constituted by a differential device, in a differential housing 3 located below a case part of the automatic transmission which has insertion holes 3a of the right and left drive shafts 9 of the vehicle, the differential case 2, which is composed of one part of the differential equipment 1, is supported rotatably via the bearing 4; the right and left drive shafts 9 which are inserted in the insertion holes 3a, are spline-engaged with right and left side gears 7 in the differential case 2; a cylindrical sleeve 30 connected with the side gear 7 from an axial direction of the drive shaft 9 in the differential case 2 is formed by the length L2 which projects from the differential case 2 to the insertion hole 3a; and the insertion hole 3a is provided with a seal 10 brought into pressure contact with an outer periphery of the sleeve 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
