<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide traveling object communication equipment and a traveling support method for, when rear-end collision prevention support and signal overlook prevention support are simultaneously provided, determining support to be provided in a preferential manner in accordance with situations, and for providing traveling support on the basis of priority. <P>SOLUTION: The traveling object communication equipment for providing a first service to attract attention to a traffic signal and a second service to attract attention to rear-end collision as traveling support includes: a communication part for receiving information including both system information showing the content of a provision service and information necessary for providing the service; and a control part for acquiring information including the information showing the current position of the traveling object. When the first service and the second service are included in the system information, the control part determines which of the first service and the second service should be provided in a preferential manner on the basis of at least the information showing the current position of the traveling object and information showing the position of the monitor target reference spot of the first service and information showing the position of the monitor target reference spot of the second service. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
