<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit capable of effectively radiating heat generated in the light source unit to the outside of a body and reducing luminous flux loss from an LED module. <P>SOLUTION: The light source unit 1 includes the LED light source module 2, and the body 3 having a mounting surface section 3B for mounting the LED module 2, radiation fins 3A for radiating heat emitted from the LED module 2, and a thick-walled section 30 arranged between the mounting surface section 3B and the radiation fins 3A. The thick-walled section 30 has an inclined surface 31 inclined from the LED module 2 to the outside so as to make light of the LED module 2 face in an irradiation direction on a cross section of the body 3 in a direction along an optical axis O direction of the LED module 2, and the inclined surface 31 is formed to be thicker than the mounting surface section 3B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
