<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a variable nozzle mechanism into an assembly, and to surely and simply couple a link mechanism which converts reciprocal displacement from an external actuator to rotational displacement to the variable nozzle mechanism when the variable nozzle mechanism made into the assembly is to be assembled in a housing such as a bearing housing. <P>SOLUTION: A variable capacity-type turbocharger includes: the variable nozzle mechanism section 23 which regulates a flow of exhaust gas to a turbine rotor 7; the link mechanism 35 which converts reciprocal displacement from the actuator for operating the variable nozzle mechanism into rotational displacement and transmits the rotational displacement to an inner section of the bearing housing; and an engaging section 51 which causes an output section of the link mechanism and an input section of the variable nozzle mechanism to engage. The engaging section 51 is constituted of a pin 46 and a pin insertion slot 45 into which the pin 46 is inserted. A smooth surface 47 is formed around the insertion position of the pin 46, the surface capable of guiding the tip of the pin 46 into the insertion position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
