<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-durable pneumatic tire, wherein a coating rubber for steel cords has excellent initial adhesiveness and resistance to thermal deterioration in adhesiveness. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a carcass and a belt disposed on an outside of the carcass in a direction of a tire radius, and the belt includes a layer made of the steel cords coated with the coating rubber. A rubber composition includes, based on 100 parts of a rubber component, 1-20 parts of an adsorbent, whereby a moisture absorption amount is ≥5 mass% at 25°C at a relative humidity of 60%, as a rubber reinforcing filler is used for the coating rubber. An adsorbent that comprises a recently developed low-crystallinity layered clay mineral and an amorphous aluminum silicate complex is used as the filler. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
