<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constant-current driving a battery to measure voltage between the terminals of the secondary battery for accurately obtaining the state of the charge (SOC) of the secondary battery forming the battery even if a vehicle, which is an EV or HEV comprising only a single battery, is running. <P>SOLUTION: A motor controller according to the invention comprises: mode setting means for setting either of a first mode in which the charging and discharging current of a secondary battery changes depending on the load fluctuation of a motor, or a second mode in which the charging and discharging current of the secondary battery becomes constant during a prescribed time regardless of the load fluctuation of the motor; and drive signal generation means for generating a drive signal to drive the motor on the basis of the mode set by the mode setting means, a torque command value, and the rotation number of the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
