LIVING RADICAL POLYMERIZATION INITIATOR, STAR COPOLYMER, RESIN COMPOSITION, AND DIE BONDING FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living radical polymerization initiator capable of allowing a star copolymer having the viscosity lower than before to be synthesized.

SOLUTION: The living radical polymerization initiator has at least three branched chains, each of which has a halogen atom at the end thereof, in one molecule and at least one benzene ring on the chain between two closest halogen atoms of the plurality of halogen atoms thereof. The minimum number of atoms existing on the chain between the two halogen atoms is 9-30 and each of two atoms among the 9-30 atoms is bonded to the meta or para position of the benzene ring.
