<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a photograph of a predetermined picture composition by selecting one or more arbitrary persons from person images displayed on a finder and performing a zooming process. <P>SOLUTION: Before a photographic key is operated, a processor of a personal digital assistant, which is an example of a camera device, detects a face image of a person image 58 on a subject image displayed on a display 14, and displays a face mark 60 on part of the face of each person image. By operating an operation part such as GUI, a user selects one or more arbitrary person images from the person images with the face marks displayed thereon, as a target or targets to be subjected to a zooming process. Selection marks 62 are attached to the person image or images selected by the user.
