<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator apparatus which can suppress peak power and reduce power consumption in running the elevator to a standby floor without degrading user's convenience. <P>SOLUTION: An elevator apparatus includes a standby elevator determining means 29 for determining an elevator as a standby elevator when an elevator cage 1 is not on the standby floor and there is neither an elevator hall call nor a cage destination floor registration, a standby floor deciding means 30 for deciding the standby floor of the elevator cage 1 determined as the standby elevator, an estimate time computing means 31 for computing estimate time TA up to a next new elevator hall call to the standby elevator, and a velocity/acceleration deciding means 32 for deciding velocity and acceleration when the elevator cage 1 of the standby elevator runs to the standby floor within the estimate time TA. The velocity/acceleration deciding means 32 reduces at least one of the velocity and acceleration required for running the elevator cage 1 of the standby elevator to the standby floor to be smaller than that on usual service. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
