FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: method involves loading to a blast furnace of agglomerates and pellets with different composition, coke, fluxes, control of the composition of cast iron and slag at the outlet; determination of basicity of slag as per the ratio B=CaO/SiO. Besides, slag viscosity at different temperatures is determined and viscosity of final slag is regulated within 0.2-0.5 Pa·sec. In addition, there determined is slag viscosity gradient equal to reduction of its viscosity at temperature increase by 1°C, in the range of its viscosity of 2.5 Pa·sec to 0.7 Pa·sec, within the values not exceeding 0.030 Pa·sec/°C.EFFECT: improvement of blast furnace operating properties at smelting of open-hearth pig irons from multicomponent charges of variable composition; improvement of productivity; reduction of coke consumption.1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
