FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: mechanical seal has the first and the second sealing surfaces, which are brought in forced contact to form a seal between themselves. One sealing surface is located on a rotating part of the seal, and the second sealing surface is located on a supporting assembly. In addition, the seal includes a connection allowing rotational movement between the supporting assembly and a fixed part of the seal to provide adjustment of the section of the rotating part relative to the fixed part without performing any adverse effect on alignment of the first and the second sealing surfaces.EFFECT: invention improves the sealing reliability.20 cl, 9 dwg |
