FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely ophthalmology, and may be used for sealing of small (max. 3 mm) corneal and sclerocorneal tunnel incisions. A curved suture needled is pricked in within healthy corneal tissues in a projection of an internal incision at 1 mm from a tunnel end; further, the cornea is sutured by 1/2 of a stromal thickness in parallel to the tunnel; the needle is pricked out at 1 mm from an external incision; the filament is pulled through with its free end left from the outside; thereafter, the suture needle is thrown over diagonally from the outside and pricked in once again in a projection of the internal incision at 1 mm from the opposite tunnel end symmetrically to the first prick-in; the cornea is sutured by 1/2 of the stromal thickness in parallel to the tunnel; the needle is pricked out again at 1 mm from the external incision symmetrically to the first prick-out from the opposite side; the suture needle is cross-wise thrown over from the outside to the first prick-in; both suture ends are tightened and knotted; the free ends are cut out, and the knot is immersed into the stromal thickness.EFFECT: method enables conducting the sealing operations on hypotonic eyes, on eyes with previous radical keratotomy, avoiding penetrations of the mated surfaces in cases the tunnel ends are non-mating or damaged.1 dwg, 2 ex |
