The probe (1) has a section (10) in which positive or negative ions are subjected to crossed electric field (E-1) and magnetic field (B) having amplitudes adapted to select ions having a predetermined speed. Another section (20) is supplied by the ions of speed equal to the predetermined speed, leaving the former section, where the ions are deflected by an electric field (E-2) and directed according to the charge towards respective detectors (25).
