PURPOSE: A continuous casting device is provided to reach enough amount of ultrasonic waves to a coagulating surface by miniaturizing a dendrite organization. CONSTITUTION: A continuous casting device comprises vibrators(30,44). The vibrator applies ultrasonic waves to a solidification surface(28) of metal in a mold(16). The vibrator is formed from the fine ceramics including the silicon nitride or sialon. The vibrator comprises one or more bent portion. The vibrator comprises oscillators(32) and immersed parts. The vibrator and an oscillator generate ultrasonic wave(38). The immersed part is connected to oscillator on the other hands and dipped in the molten metal(26) of the mold. The immersed part has the heat resistance at a melting temperature of the metal in the mold. |
