摘要 PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display of a z inversion driving method is provided to equalize the virtual value of the voltage of the pixel lines of odd and even numbers by compensating data voltage applied to the pixel line of the even number. CONSTITUTION: Gate voltage is applied to the thin film transistor of each pixel connected to one gate line. The gate voltage controls the thin film transistor to be on for one horizontal period in one frame. Each pixel line is applied with data voltage for the one horizontal period through thin film transistors. Each pixel line is charged with voltage for one horizontal period. The voltage of the pixel line has different shapes and waveforms at a charging area and a discharging area. The voltage of each pixel line is charged as much as charging voltage levels(C1,C2) at the charging area. A second data voltage(Vd2) is higher than the amount of a first data voltage(Vd1). The charging voltage level of the pixel line of an even number is higher than the charging voltage level of the pixel line of an odd umber.
