摘要 PURPOSE: A lane keeping assistance control system based on the tire power information and a method thereof are provided to have an effect of preventing an undemanding lane deviation by a driver, by improving a lane keeping assistance control performance. CONSTITUTION: A lane keeping assistance control system based on the tire power information comprises followings: an image sensor(110) which recognizes and delivers a driving lane of a vehicle; a tire power computing unit in which senses the deformation amount of the tire, calculate a contact area of the tire from the sensed deformation amount, calculating and delivering the vertical force and lateral force of the tire based on the calculated contact area; a lane keeping assistance control unit(130) which monitors a dynamic status of the vehicle based on the delivered tire power information, calculating and delivering the control information for the lane keeping assistance of the tire based on the monitoring result and the recognized driving lane information; and a steering apparatus(140) which assists so that the vehicle maintains the driving lane based on the delivered control information.
