<p>PURPOSE: An ester oil of amyl alcohol or an isomer thereof, and fatty acid of natural vegetable oil in a cosmetic composition is provided to ensure superior moisturizing ability, softness, and stability by increasing viscosity of a cosmetic material. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains an ester oil as an active ingredient, which is prepared by mixing amyl alcohol or an isomer thereof and fatty acid derived from natural vegetable oil, and esterifying the mixture. The isomer is selected from the group consisting of 3-methyl-1-butanol(isoamyl alcohol), 2-methyl-1-butanol, 2,2-dimethyl-1-propanol, 3-pentanol, 2-pentanol, 3-methyl-2-butanol, and 2-methyl-2-butanol. The natural vegetable oil is olive oil or coconut oil. The fatty acid is a mixture of fatty acid which is extracted by a high temperature and high pressure process. The ester oil is isoamyl oleate selected from structural formulas 15-20.</p> |
