The lock (1) has a housing (2), and an arbor (3) provided for torque-proof retaining of a handle. The arbor projects from a side of the housing, and an access electronics (5) comprises a receiving unit for receiving an activation signal and an electronic authorization checking unit. An extensible and retractable latch (9) projects from a stulp (8) and locks a door. The latch is electromechanically coupled with the arbor only when the authorization checking unit determines authorization in the received activation signal, where the access electronics is arranged in the housing.
