<p>The method involves adjusting magnetic forces (Fm1, Fm2), which act on an armature in valve opening directions, by electrical controllers of a valve coil. The magnetic forces work against return force (Fr) that acts on the armature in a valve closing direction. Aperture shift operation is divided into two control time intervals. The magnetic forces are considerably larger than the return force in one of the time intervals, and the magnetic forces are slightly larger than the return force and correspond to the return force in the other time interval. An independent claim is also included for a brake system.</p> |
