<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED light-emitting device which improves visibility of a polarity mark while maintaining a small shape and without increase in a substrate size to enable an operation without generating an error in polarity at the time of mounting the LED light-emitting device, and which requires no excess process such as additional processing. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting device comprises a phosphor plate 3 adhered to a light emitting face of a semiconductor light-emitting element 1 having bump electrodes 1a, 1b on an undersurface; a white resin 4 covering side faces of the semiconductor light-emitting element 1; a groove 3a formed on the phosphor plate 3; and a colored resin 4a filled in the groove.
