<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve positioning performance. <P>SOLUTION: When a shutter button 42s is operated, camera image data expressing a scene captured with an imaging apparatus 18 is secured in an SDRAM 26. A camera CPU 40 retrieves server image data coinciding with camera image data from among server image data of multiple frames with position information respectively attached thereto, and calculates a distance to the imaging position of the retrieved server image data on the basis of a scale difference between the camera image data and the retrieved server image data.
