<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small module the address information of which can be confirmed easily by visual observation, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate resist material having a width of 0.3-1.0 mm is exposed to the cross section appearing by dicing. The area where the substrate resist material is exposed is a resist opening area. Consequently, a bit shape of "thickness"×"width" of the resist opening area is formed as a mark on the cut surface of a module after individual cutting. The resist opening area is indicated by the difference of hue of the substrate resist material and a mold resin, on the cross section of individualized module piece.
