The invention relates to façade systems for energy production, in particular façade systems in which airflow energy which is present on account of an upward air draft is converted into electrical energy. In order to provide energy production with improved profitability even on wind-free days, a façade system (10) for energy production is provided which has a façade structure (12) for a building which has an inner side (16) pointing toward an inside space and an outer side (20) pointing toward an outside space. The façade system further has at least one shaft (22) extending vertically and at least one generator (24) having a rotor (26). The shaft is arranged on the outer side of the inner side and extends over at least part of the height of the façade structure and is connected to the outside space via an air inlet opening (27) in the lower region and an air outlet opening (28) in the upper region. The rotor is arranged in the shaft between the air inlet and the air outlet openings, and is used to convert airflow energy which is present on account of an upward air draft present in the shaft into electrical energy. The at least one rotor is held in the shaft on a supporting structure (32) so that it can be removed. |
