Using the time of occurrence of a predetermined event in a traveling work machine (110) or a ship as a condition, the data recording control unit (243) stores in the data recording unit (260) a predetermined number of cycles of data including the data at the point in time at which the predetermined event occurred, and transmits information indicating the predetermined event and the predetermined number of cycles of data stored in the data recording unit (260) from the communication unit (210) to a remote monitoring device (130).
