<p>Disclosed are a 1588 packet processing method and apparatus, and a communication device. The method comprises: identifying the original EtherType of a received 1588 packet; according to a predetermined mapping manner, modifying the original EtherType; and sending the 1588 packet with the modified EtherType to a packet processor. The present invention solves the problem of incapability of the packet processor in identifying the EtherType of a 1588 packet in the prior art, so as to achieve the effect of enabling the packet processor to identify the EtherType of a 1588 packet.</p> |
