PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and receiving a stereoscopic video of a digital broadcasting system and a device thereof are provided to supply a stereoscopic video service which supports a single stream mode and a dual stream mode of the stereoscopic video. CONSTITUTION: A stereoscopic video transmission device generates a stereoscopic video corresponding to a predetermined composition method(S301). The stereoscopic video transmission device generates information which shows the stereoscopic video, information for a composition method of the stereoscopic video, additional information for the stereoscopic video corresponding to the composition method(S303).
