<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in efficiency of an editing operation and a reproducing operation of a moving image. <P>SOLUTION: An image reading device 108 includes: a necessity/unnecessity determination section 107 for reading meta data from a recording section 106 to determine whether or not a moving image frame corresponding to identification information in the meta data is a necessary moving image frame on the basis of necessity/unnecessity determination data in the meta data; and a reading control section 112 for reading from the recording section 106 only the moving image frame recorded at a recording position in the recording section 106, corresponding to the identification information of the moving image frame determined as the necessary moving image frame by the necessity/unnecessity determination section 107, by using a table in which the identification information recorded in the recording section 106 is associated with information indicating the recording position in the recording section 106, corresponding to the identification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
