USE OF PCV2 IMMUNOGENIC COMPOSITION FOR ALLEVIATING CLINICAL SYMPTOM IN PIG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use of an immunogenic composition that comprises a porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) antigen for treatment of several clinical manifestations (diseases).

SOLUTION: A method is provided for reducing or alleviating the severity of clinical symptoms associated with PCV2 infection, including administering the porcine circovirus type 2 antigen to a pig, reducing total holding amount of porcine circovirus in an animal, and/or reducing immunosuppressive action of porcine circovirus infection in a pig.
