PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a seismic isolation effect by reducing a pressure loss (attenuation amount) with a simple configuration and by using an auxiliary tank effectively.

SOLUTION: A seismic isolator 120 includes: an air spring 150 interposed between a slab 110 and a floor structure 130 of a building; and a plurality of auxiliary tanks 152 communicating with the air spring via a communication pipe 154. The plurality of auxiliary tanks is installed in parallel to the air spring. Thereby, a seismic isolation effect is improved by suppressing a pressure loss by the communication pipe and by consecutively installing the appropriate number of auxiliary tanks.
