<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure in a box molding step even if there is a gap at a seam part of a main body part. <P>SOLUTION: A female terminal fitting 10 is provided with a main body part 20 formed by bending a metal plate material into a square cylinder shape. The main body 20 comprises: a bottom wall 21; a pair of right and left side walls 22L, 22R extending upward from both edges of the bottom wall 21; an intermediate wall 23 extending from an upper edge of the right side wall 22R to the left side wall 22L; and a ceiling wall 24 extending upward the right side wall 22R from the upper edge of the left side wall 22L. A void space 29 in which a corner part of the right side wall 22R and the bottom wall 21 does not exist is provided at a lower part of a portion that is not in contact with the ceiling wall 24 at the upper edge of the right side wall 22R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
