<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital converter that implements high conversion accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The analog/digital converter includes a voltage generation section and a plurality of comparators. The voltage generation section divides a reference voltage by means of a plurality of resistors to generate a plurality of comparison voltages. Each comparator outputs a digital signal depending on a result of comparison of any one of the plurality of comparison voltages with an analog input voltage. Each comparator includes a differential pair circuit for detecting a potential difference between two inputs. The differential pair circuit has a first circuit section 50 and a second circuit section 60. The first circuit section includes a first input transistor 51, and a resistor Rref connected in series with the first input transistor. The second circuit section includes a second input transistor 61 forming a differential pair with the first input transistor, and a variable resistor Rv connected in series with the second input transistor.
