<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for humidification and/or heating of air prior to using the air for surgery and other medical treatments. <P>SOLUTION: The humidification apparatus includes an inlet 12; a humidification device fluid communicating with the inlet, and having a humidification material 24 for easily absorbing the humidity while discharging the humidity easily when it is exposed to a dry environment, and the humidification material is configured to generate a turbulent flow in the air when the air passes through the surface of the humidification material; and an outlet fluid communicating with the humidification device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
