<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic device for ship steer which is capable of achieving miniaturization and superior in assembly workability inside of a ship. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic device for ship steer 30L includes a main valve 32 that can switch to any of such a steer fixing position as to inhibit supply of hydraulic oil from a pump 16L to a hydraulic cylinder 11L, such an elongation steer position as to elongate the hydraulic cylinder 11L by supplying hydraulic oil from the pump 16L to one side of the hydraulic cylinder 11L, and such a retraction steer position as to retract the hydraulic cylinder 11L by supplying hydraulic oil from the pump 16L to the other side of the hydraulic cylinder 11L, and opening valves 33, 34 that can switch to either of such an opening position as to open a hydraulic path between the main valve 32 and the hydraulic cylinder 11L to the outside or such a closing position as not to open the hydraulic path to the outside.
