<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester modified cross-section core-sheath conjugate fiber that is good in spinnability and processability and especially has an excellent thermal insulation property when made into fabric. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester modified cross-section core-sheath conjugate fiber includes a polymer (A) constituting a sheath part 1 and a polymer (B) constituting a core part 2 in a mass ratio (A/B) of 80/20-20/80. The polymer (A) is a polyester-based resin. The polymer (B) is a polyester-based resin that includes 1-20 mass% of silica having an average secondary particle diameter of 0.05-3.0 μm and including particles having a secondary particle diameter of 5 μm or more in a ratio of 10 vol.% or less. The single fibers constituting the modified cross section core-sheath conjugate fiber have a core-sheath shape of a specific shape and also have a fineness of 1.5 dtex or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
