A carbon dioxide reliquefaction process for reliquefying the carbon dioxide stream evaporated from a tank storing liquefied carbon dioxide gas, comprises: a compression step of compressing the carbon dioxide stream; and a first expansion step of expanding at least a part of the carbon dioxide stream in order to lower the temperature of the carbon dioxide stream after the compression step, wherein at least a part of the carbon dioxide stream is supplied to the tank after the first expansion step.
