The method involves applying a glass-fiber reinforced polyurethane-laminate over an entire length around a pipe (210). A liquid polyurethane-resin (220) is applied on an outer surface of the pipe by spraying, injecting, rolling, coating or impregnation processes. A glass fiber gaze (240) is applied on the wet polyurethane-resin at a temperature above 360 degrees. A number of gas windings is provided round around the pipe such that the polyurethane-resin is provided between the successive windings. An independent claim is also included for a transport line.
