<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system which can be operated continuously without disabling the safety interruption function of a microcomputer meter, and can be operated with high energy efficiency while stabilizing the amount of power generation by a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: In the cogeneration system having a power generation section incorporating a fuel cell and generating electrical energy and thermal energy simultaneously, and heating hot water by heat generated in the power generation section, a storage tank for storing hot water, an auxiliary heat source for heating hot water as required, a storage system for supplying the hot water heated in the auxiliary heat source to the storage tank, and a fuel supply system for supplying fuel gas to the power generation section and the auxiliary heat source are provided. On condition that power generation by the power generation section has sustained for a predetermined time or longer, fuel gas consumption operation is carried out forcibly. In the fuel gas consumption operation, hot water heated by combustion operation of the auxiliary heat source is stored in the storage tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
