<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a towered procession of ball mills to progressively feed downwardly thereby to provide a substantial throughput of a matrix being mechano-chemically decontaminated despite small size of each ball mill.
