<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that satisfactorily prints an image on a recording material even in the case of having a plurality of image forming parts. <P>SOLUTION: A path switching pawl 25 switches a path for a recording material P supplied via a supply path R1 to either a monochrome conveyance path Ra or a color conveyance path Rb. A path switching pawl 45 switches a path for a recording material P so that a recording material P supplied from a second common conveyance path R9 is guided to an inversion path R2 and a recording material P supplied from the inversion path R2 is guided to a circulation conveyance path R2. A path switching pawl 145 switches a path for a recording material P supplied via the color conveyance path Rb to either a crosslinking path R4 or a color ejection path R6. A path switching pawl 155 switches a path for a recording material P supplied via the monochrome conveyance path Ra and a first common conveyance path R8 to either a color ejection path R5 or the second common conveyance path R9.
