<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial plate assembly in which an ornamental member can be suppressed from being protruded from a front-side surface of a dial plate, and a timepiece. <P>SOLUTION: A dial plate assembly 4 is accommodated within a watch 1 together with a movement 9 which rotatably supports an hour hand 101 and a minute hand 102. The dial plate assembly 4 comprises a planar dial plate 6 and at least one ornament structure 70 including an ornamental member 7 which is visible from a front side of the dial plate 6, and a supporting member 8 which supports the ornamental member 7 to the dial plate 6. Furthermore, the dial plate 6 includes a fixing part 64 which is comprised of a through hole penetrating the dial plate 6 in a thickness direction and fixes the ornament structure 70. The ornament structure 70 is then inserted from a rear side of the dial plate 6 to the fixing part 64 and fixed in the state of assembling the ornamental member 7 and the supporting member 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
