<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly improve workability of medical staff in respective divisions and convenience of patients by promoting linkage among respective division systems in information processing and information transmission, and acquiring, storing and transmitting status information of patients in the respective divisions. <P>SOLUTION: A middleware system is interposed between an ordering system and respective division systems that are present individually and independently. Namely, the middleware system is connected to the respective division systems and also connected to the ordering system. The middleware system functions to relay medical information items of the respective division systems and to transmit them to the ordering system.
