摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cycle characteristics by improving reactivity with lithium in the case that an alloy system material, such as silicon and the like, is used as a negative electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium secondary battery has: a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material which can insert and remove lithium; a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material which can insert and remove lithium; and an electrolytic solution. In a method of manufacturing the lithium secondary battery, lithium is inserted into the negative electrode before the battery is assembled, a part of the lithium inserted into the negative electrode is removed after the insertion, and then, the battery is assembled after the removal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
