<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inequality between a candidate for a subject of initial selection and a plurality of other candidates to enhance operability when a user selects a candidate. <P>SOLUTION: In an information processing apparatus 10, a candidate display control part 12 positions a predetermined one of a plurality of candidates at a predetermined center, arranges other candidates radially in a plurality of directions from the center, and displays the plurality of candidates as a list on a display part 20. Then, when first receiving a moving operation with a direction key 31 from an input part 30, the information processing apparatus 10 points and displays a selection cursor 22 at a candidate arranged at an original point position as a subject of selection.
