<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which makes moisture condensation in a terminal box less likely to occur and is used in a work machine. <P>SOLUTION: A generator motor 2 that is an electric motor mounted on a hybrid construction machine includes: a rotor 13 that rotates; a stator 11 which is disposed facing the outer peripheral side of the rotor 13; a housing 10 which covers the rotor 13 and in which the stator 11 is attached; and a terminal box 15 integrally provided with the exterior of the housing 10. The interior of the housing 10 communicates with the interior of the terminal box 15, and a moisture condensation cap 20, which is formed by a material having a heat transfer rate higher than those of materials of the housing 10 and the terminal box 15 and covers an opening 17A provided in the terminal box 15 thereby contacting with air in the terminal box 15, is provided at the exterior of the terminal box 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
