The transmission (4) has a hydraulic motor (22) acting on a component, a sun wheel (16), a planetary wheel carrier (13) or a hollow wheel (15) and a planetary gear (12) over a shaft with respect to rotary speed change. The hydraulic motor is not directly connected with an input shaft (10) and an output shaft (11) of the planetary gear. A control device adjusts an adjustable hydrostatic unit i.e. hydraulic pump (21) e.g. radial piston-type hydraulic pump, according to the measure of input speed such that the output shaft of the planetary gear exhibits predetermined constant output speed. An independent claim is also included for a streaming machine for converting flow energy into electric energy.
